JFK Letter:

Dear Beth Rand,

To my understanding or from what we have talked about in class the JFK murder/assasination was a world wide incident and was a very long sarrow for all of America. I now couldn't even imagine what people would do about our president getting shot. If you could remember what is your understanding of what happened to JFK that afternoon? I know that even i have questions still about what had gone on that day or what was going through the mind of the person that shot him. Do you have any questions? I think though in some way that people would react different from Obama being assasinated and JFK. What do you think on that subject? I also think that it would be a big group of people to do any types of assasinations. Do you think that the JFK murder was a lone gunman or a conspiracy? I guess what im trying to ask you is, do you think that people would react differently to a presidancy assasination? Thank you for taking your time to read this and if you could write back with answers. Thank you Ms.Rand.

sincerely,
Kristen Storen

The Space Race:

The most important question would be why?, why did we engage in the Space Race. This would be because of the fact that we wanted to prove the superiority within the two countries the Soviet Union and America. By doing this they would put in as much technology as they could to benefit the understanding of outer space. I honestly think that this was a waste of technology this because we only did it to prove a point not just to find out what’s really going on out there. Though it did benefit what we now know about outer space, we just didn’t do it for that reason.

I think that the next ‘it’ that we should focus on is the ocean, this is because it is on our planet and we still now don’t know everything about it today. That’s what I don’t understand there’s so much we don’t know about on this planet and yet we feel the need to go out and discover more. Why would we honestly want to go and waste our money on other things that don’t matter? I think that if we nationally though were to take a vote it would be to study more within space, only because it leads back to that superiority fact which is a bunch of nonsense.
